Release Concert Update and Synopsis of the New Project
What it is y’all?

Exciting times…
It’s been a minute since an update and for good reason. Life has been a roller coaster ride of epic proportions. It seems that every time I get ready to release this project, major catastrophes seem to happen like hard drives crashing, back up hard drives crashing, houses burning down, deaths in the family, car accidents, venues being shifty and trying to eat off of my merchandise, etc…
That’s it! I am putting this out… into your mind, into the world, into the atmosphere, and into the rest of the universe … I will be releasing this project on AUGUST 18th, 2010. No more delays dammit!
I will be officially releasing the first single off of the album on August 1st. It is called "Semi-Reserved Closet Maniac" I will be giving this single away free to anyone who is a part of my email list. If you've ever had a "choke your boss" fantasy type of day, then this song is for you. Download it, play it and love it. Cover Art for the single is by the splendiferous Ingrid Powell.
Luminous Dark Alleys: The Insomniac Works is the name of the project.
It is a group of “works” that are reflective and introspective of my experiences with insomnia. It includes an audio album on CD and a complete BOOK (not a booklet, a complete literary work).
Lyrically, this album trumps anything I have ever done. If you are a fan of deep lyrics with intricate lyrical flows and a dark edge, you are going to love the CD. It will make you think. It will make you rewind and replay. Musically I have expanded by recruiting tracks form the production geniuses of Amorphous Works, Coole High and C-Doc “The War Hammer”. The music captures the moods of the way insomnia makes me feel perfectly. I outsourced the incredible Mike Spice of Connected Sounds to mix 10 of the 15 tracks and he mastered all of them… WOW… Sonic deliciousness~!
The book is a deeper explanation and reflection of my experiences that lead to me writing the songs. You will definitely want to read the book because it expands upon the CD in ways you won’t believe until you read it. It will, at very least, be something you will relate to on a personal level. At most, it will change the way you think of me, you, and the rest of the world. It also includes exclusive line artwork by me and Demostina http://Demostina.com that is reflective of the whole theme. My pieces are sketches that I created as I was writing the book. These sketches gave rise to my new mascot “Him”. (T-shirts coming soon). Demostina’s pieces are reflective of songs from the CD. The Cover art is also 2 paintings done by Demostina. The literary work is a culmination of my thoughts and experiences in life dealing with insomnia. If you’ve ever had a difficult time sleeping then this project is something that you will severely relate to. If you haven’t had a battle with sleep then you’ll be able to get a better understanding of where I am coming from. It is a very personal account so get ready to hear and read some meat and potatoes you never thought you’d hear from me. It is SUPER personal.

I have teamed up with Coole High who is also releasing his album “Futuristically Speaking” on the same day. We have brought in Hip Hop playwright and director Gustav Gauntlet to combine the themes of our albums into a theatrical production of a concert performance like you’ve never seen on the NYC Underground. We have worked in cameos from some of the NYC area underground’s finest talent…
The event will be called FUTURE INSOMNIAC

Tickets are $10 in advance and $12 at the door.
There will be a VIP reception for advanced ticket holders and press at 6pm. We will be serving finger foods, wine and some extras so not only do you get a few bucks off of admission, you get to schmooze. There will be a Q&A and video screening of our unreleased videos.
Doors will open to the general public at 7pm and curtain will be at 8pm Sharp. The event will be over at 10pm. The after party will be at another location at 10:30pm. We are arranging transportation from venue to venue for the people in attendance. The after party is complementary for ticket holders and will feature performances by the artists who are involved in the concert.
All that for $10… You can’t beat that!

The Album Release Concert will be at Santos Party House in NYC
After all this time, the wait is over. The Release concert for Luminous Dark Alleys: The Insomniac Works will be at the fantastic Santos Party House in NYC...
The previous venue we were supposed to have the concert at ran a sham deal and we had to walk away from it to a bigger and better venue.

The Tah Vinci Code Warm Up #2 Online Challenge results are up!
I’m givin’ away money and stuff… Tell a friend.
Contestants had to identify as many brands of Cigarettes in the Tah Phrum Duh Bush song “ Cigarette" as possible.
They used their online chops to help them out.
We had people from all over the US and in the Czech Republic playing along.

Tah & the Kids and Demostina's Art Opening.
After that I swung through to Demostin'a Art Opening in Washington Height's today.
Her exhibit is called Breathing Under Water.
It is at a restaurant in Washington height's called Plum Pomidor.
I highly recommend swinging through if you have the time.
It is absolutely breathtaking!
If you didn't know, Demostina did the artwork for my upcoming release "Luminous Dark Alleys: The Insomniac Works". She is also featured on one of the songs called "Nightmares in the Daytime". She is a true talent and she deserves a look see.

I'm back on tour in Europe shaking off the Negative Willies
Just before I left NYC I had a series of really shitty premonitions; all of which included me dying in not so pleasant ways. A friend of mine also told me that she had a psychic reading done on me and that she was told that there would be a stabbing near me soon. An extremely large black fly was hovering over my bed when I woke up the day I was leaving. I wouldn't normally be concerned but it was 20 degrees outside and it is February...
Signs? I dunno. I am not really superstitious but... dayum... Shit is shiftin' my faith in not having faith in BS superstitions...

Prague is the shit!!!!
Just landed in Prague and I love this place already!
It's about 50 degrees outside and the air is crisp. Almost like San Francisco early in the morning.
If you haven't been here, do it before you die.
Especially if you are from the United States. There is so much history here it's amazing!
The architecture, the streets, the parks, the whole shebang.

OK... P90X results.... Are You Ready?
I'm exposing a very personal thing here. My damn body... This may be the only time I do this. I know some people are gonna be like "I don't want to see this shit" but the majority of responses have been that they want to see the results. If you don't want to see it, then don't look. It's just that easy. A bunch of people have asked me based on face to face observations of the changes to train them or to put them on to what I've been doing... Hit me up and I'll tell you all about it. Just be aware, this is no "over-night" easy fitness shit. It requires a lot of work, dedication and restructuring of how you eat. You do eat. As a matter of fact you eat more frequently than you probably did in the past so you won't starve at all. It's no starvation diet type of deal but the quality of the things you eat has to change.
I'm putting this out there because I see how unhealthy I became in just 6 months. Most people are super unhealthy all their lives. Especially people in the hood. Bad neighborhood and poor education usually comes with a shitty diet and poor health soon follows. There is an epidemic in the US and it's called obesity. It's killing people left and right. It also has a serious effect on self esteem which leads to more unhealthy crap like smoking and being sedentary. I feel the difference in my mood as well. I went through some really rough times when I was putting on that weight and it made the rough times a whole lot rougher.
So with that being said... If I can do this, anyone can do this. You'll be surprised how quickly it goes by and how good you'll feel physically and mentally.

Weight 185 lbs, Waist 34.5, Chest 40 , Hips 40, Body Fat 13.8%
Dayum... I'm just realizing I lost 28 lbs... I said I'd lose a toddler and I lost a school aged kid!

Hired Gun's Release Party: The People's Verses
What a bash!
These things just keep getting better and better!!!
For those of you outside of NYC and those who could not make it out to last night's concert... This is the exciting news!
The show kicked off with an exciting opener by one of the most talented eMCees in NYC Why G.
He killed it with a set of pure energy.
Next up... Yours Truly! I performed Semi-Reserved Closet Maniac and Laceration which are quicy becoming crowd favorites.
After that I introduced the man of the hour: Hired Gun!
I had the crowd on the left chanting "Hired Gun, Hired Gun, Hired Gun"
and then the right side chimed in "H-G!"

The man came out to a thunderous roar of cheers. What a tremendous set; with cameos by Core Rhythm, Tranquill and Preacher Mann to name a few.
What a performance!
At the end fo his set Hired Gun did a song about his ex girlfriend. I say ex-girlfriend because they were no longer boyfriend and girlfriend after he pulled out all the stops and proposed to her on stage!
She said yes!
Congratz to Hired Gun and his wife to be Cee Cee.
