May 26, 2006
Alphabet Lounge, NYC
Opening night of the tour... I ended up working the sound board, holding down the door and working the bar at various times throughout the night. Oh yeah... I performed too!
I won't get into the semantics but it was sill a dope night. DJ Polarity came through and held down the sound for the night. Royall Witt and a few other cats came through and ripped it for the open mic segment. Royall Witt is one y'all need to be on the lookout for. My #1 Fan Linda was in the house holding me down from early. Doors opened at 7pm and I didn't get on stage till around 11pm and she stuck it out. Thanks love! All of the acts were on point! U know how I do on stage. Jumping into the crowd, laying the pipe, etc... My highlight for the night was KLM and Michael J (the dancers) these cats were off the chain! Dudes had pyrotechnics and shyt. They were literally on fire! The crowd went nuts when I brought out the energitis vest... Don't know what it is? Well U should have been there. Show up at my next show and you my get to see it then! It's really energetic and very bright to say the least. Energitis is relatively new to my stage show and seems to be becoming a crowd favorite. If you like it on the album, you should definitely peep it out at a show. It adds a whole new dimension.

Stop missing my shows dammit!

May 27, 2006
Went to see my homey Adam Jeeze in West Philly. I did a tour with him in 2000 called the Ghetto Barbershop Tour. What a dope cat. They were having a yard sale and drinking brews on his porch then it was off to:
The Fire, Philadelphia
You wanna talk about CPT (that's Colored People's Time for the ethnically challenged)...
A party bus from Washington DC was scheduled to arrive at the spot at 4 p m... They got to the spot at like 5:30 so guess what? Sets had to be cut short. Maaaaan!!!
Why I gotta suffer for CPT? U know? My moms and my sister came all the way from NYC to see my show. Big ups to them I love y'all. They had a blast. Energitis is definitely the favorite track of the tour so far. The energitis vest was, again, the show stopper! Don't know? Bring that ass out before I switch it up to some totally different shyt! The whole crew was dope. I got to see The Indikator for the first time in a while. I love that dude. Got a chance to do an interview for his Philly based video show. It was maad fun!
After the show had the worst ghetto Chinese food I've ever eaten in my life. It's all good though. Had a dope convo with Indikator and this dude Sean. One of the best times I've had kickin' it in a while. Afterwards I went back to check my man Adam Jeeze. He was on the Ghetto Barbershop Tour for a few shows with me in 2000. This cat has one of the dopest stage personas and voices I've heard to date! We went looking for a party tht didn't exist and ended up in a bar somewhere. I crashed at his crib later on and in the morning we went to this dope middle eastern spot for some grub! I bumped in to my man Jubei... well actually I saw him and I thought it was him but I wasn't quite sure. Anyway we ended up on the phone. I went into this cafe and this dude said he'd seen me on a picture in his boy's crib on the wall. Turns out it was DJ Ambush from Chester PA, my boy from back in 200 from the Philadelphia Music Conference. Small world man!

May 28, 2006
This is a day of high emotional impact for me so I'm glad I had a chance to drive by myself and reflect on shyt on the way to Maryland for the next show. Speaking of that. This show was soooooo ghetto. I was the first person there. This place wasn't even on the map. Crazy shyt. There was a spral staircase with what looked like vomit at the base. The A/C was broken and the sound man was late. The crowd was thin because nobody could find the place. Oh well. I still managed to gain a few friends and fans out of the deal and sell some CDs. All the acts were dope and D'en D Productions is now a new favorite of mine. I'll put some pics up soon...
Yeah Yeah... I know... shaddap!

May 29, 2006
What a fuckin ride!
We got in the van right after the show in MD and headed down to Atlanta!
Ate some nasty Bo'Jangles food. Never again! Tour food sucks! I'm bringing some fruit on the next go around! Anyway We had a blast on the way there but what a haul! Hey I have no complaints because on the way there I didn't drive at all!
The show was dope. The people in Atlanta seem to be all "Crunked Out" they were pretty tired of all the artists there getting on stage with the crunk styles. I actually enjoyed it. When we got up their attention changed. Hotness! That's what I want. People who have an eye for something different! The club owner liked my set so much, she invited me over and bought me a few drinks. Hey!! That's what I'm talking about! We got invited out for more. Linked up ith a cat named Big Teazey and he's got some radio shows and such that he want me to be a part of. Fantastic! We chilled in a chill hotel. I roomed with Jimmy Black who set of the fire alarm in the room while smoking a blunt and almost got us thrown out. What the hell? HAHA That's all part of the road. I mean damn, It would have been OK if I was smoking too, but I don't even smoke weed! I do however eat pork all you haters! Yes.... Pork! Dammit! I know this has absolutely nothing to do with what I'm writing about, but so what!

The trip back was brutal. I drove for like 4 hours. I ate some nasty assed McDonalds Filet-O-Fish. Hey... OK... U wanna get into details? OK. Look man... I'm human. My stomach started to grumble. I had to bust the illest fart... but I had the 80 mph cruise going and like all 4 of these dudes were in the van sleeping. I couldn't open the windows because they would've woke up and I couldn't just bust it because they would've woke up... so I drove for like an hour straight until my joint cramped up so bad I had to stop off at a rest stop. That had to be the loudest gas explosion in the world when I got out of that van! I know I'm nasty, but you're still reading right! Yes... your favorite emcee had to fart! I have news for you... Beyonce and Brad Pitt fart too! Get a grip and live huh?!

Made it back to NYC in one piece!
Read this again later I'll have a few more details when I have more time to write!

Peace, Love and the MIC,
Tah!

Bringing you to Speed From May 6th up till May 12th

Whut the fizzyuuck Y'all!
I'm back in this bizzyatch to give you the rundown on the haps!

I'be been around the North East and I, I, I...
I can't get enough of thys shyt!

May 6th, 2006
Left on the Pittsburg Excursion... Chilled with M'ported flowz and the fam over at his crib after a grueling 6 hour and 45 minute drive. We had the M'Ported Flowz Wings... This dude makes the lip burning-est wings I've had in a loooong time! Thanks to Port, and the wife -n-kidz for the hospitality.
We made moves over to the H-Kahn Hookah Bar where the LOWdown CD release party was gonna jump off. Got up in the spot early... Had the worst tasting, most potent, and least expensive Long Island Iced Tea I've ever had just before I got on stage... Holy shyt... what a buzz! The cats that got on before me were extremely dope! HymnEye got up right before me and tore it down. We did the collabo track that we're all on called "That's how it goes". (peep em on http://beyourselfrecords.com ) The crowd ate it up. I told y'all about these collabos man. I ain't playin! The Burgh definitely has some talent. Sorry that I didn't get to make it out to Button Pusha's event that same night, the Hip-Hop Buffet. If you're ever in Pittsburgh, I suggest you look it up! You won't be sorry.

Talent Alert!
There were a few really dope acts on the bill. Particualrly these cats called Loose Change. Very innovative dudes. I was feelin' their set a whole lot. Peep them out at http://www.loosechangenet.com . They've got a promising sound ans a shit load of charisma. Sixpence get at me man!

The Lowdown CD is dope as was their performance. It's on rotation big time at the crib and in the car. (Peep em at http://slamjamz.com ). Congratz to Tirade and C-Doc the Warhammer on the release... My favorite joint... Lyrical Transportation. I suggest you listen to it. I suggest you buy the CD after you get mine dammit!
Oh yeah.. the CD comes with a DVD and I'm in one of the videos on the DVD!
Ha Ha!!! Get it dammit!

May 10th... The Mini tour excursion begins!
This is the beginning of a May full of travel for me.
Burlington Vermont. I drove out to the BOOOOONDOCKS y'all. Big shout to mapquest for holding a bruh down with directions accurate to the eight of a foot! If you saw all the twists and turns I had to make, you'd be amazed. It's crazy... I never experienced roadrage in NYC and I go out to Burlington Vermont and get cursed out by an angry, crass driver for standing to close to the corner. What the f?
I have never been to a show where people showed up looking like they just finished milking cows. Bonnets and all. Straight Little House on the Prarie!
Once again hosting the show as Ringmaster for Circus of the Shattered Monkey at Club Metronome. I met some kool people. Had the illest pulled pork sandwich downstairs at the spot... Yes Tah indulges in the swine... last time I had your mama pourin' the gravy on it! (That was for all the weed smokers and the religious freaks who sin all week long and go to church on Sunday and the cigarette smokers that eat beef who talk shyt about me eating pork. All others please disregard the last statement). Anyway the bands were tight. Lots of Banjo action. Nice to hear indie music with a different flavor. Met a few cats who made a point to tell me every major street they had set foot on in Brooklyn. Why must people prove to me how "Hip Hop" they are by name dropping and street aknowledgements. I know where I live. I want to hear about where you live. Please y'all I know you're excited about NYC, but I want to know about your hometown. I don't mind it for a couple of minutes, but 30-45 minutes about NYC stuff I already know really bores me when I'm 600 miles away from home! Tell me about your hood dammit!

Had a dope time. Once again... Mapquest came through with the step by step direction from Burlington VT to Adirondack NY....
Why did I go to adirondack? My boy Bishop Blasphemy is on lock for some nonsense. I went to go check him... I drove all the way out there through the mountains only to be told that there is only visiting on the weekends. Maaaaaaaannnn!!!! I couldn't get pissed because the scenery was fantastic on the way there. Upstate NY is beautiful... On the real. People think NY and they think concrete jungle. This was indeed an eye opener for me. Hopefully I'll get to see Bishop another time. It would have been a dope surpise.

Got back on the road and drove allllllll the way to Buffalo NY ( which in on the West side of NY....
7 hours away. Yeah... the shyt I do to entertain muthaphukas The drive wasn't as kool this time. It rained and rained and rained!
I stopped at Denny's to eat like half way through... Hey no racist bullshyt.... Let's hear it for Denny's for stepping up their game after shelling out millions in lawsuit settlements in the 1990s.
Mapquest let me down once I got into Buffalo, but I latched to the street game through Vindigo on my pocket PC and found my way to the spot. That's right y'all fuck a gun... I got gadgets!

Got to Broadway Joe's in Buffalo... As usual I was the first one there.
Went in and got all my props and shyt set up. Met the staff and all that jazz.
Loki da Trixta, Saga One and Mike Spice from Cypher Productions showed up soon after me.
The DJ's came in and set up their shyt... Now we wait for the crowd to show up.
Hit up the dopest sandwich spot. Had this chicken cheese steak that knocked me off my ass!
Mike Spice and Saga thought I was crazy because they gave me beef first and I was like... "Nah yo... I don't eat beef", but I just finished bragging aout the pulled pork sandwich in Vermont.
LOOK damit... I don't eat beef because I don't eat beef. It is not a religion thing.... It's a Tah thing! I do however indulge in the fine arts of porkometry, swine-ology and oinkanomics. And no I still don't smoke weed...Ha Ha! Here's your pancakes Bitchezzzz!!!!

Back to the scene of the crime...
The show was dope. Of course U know me... The captain of props and shyt. I walked in the spot askin for the CD player... Everyone was like "don't worry we got you Tah". I was like "OK". When they introduced me. There was no CD player to be found. What the Fuck man???They tried to play my shyt in Loki's Computer which froze up. Then they were like yo... go get your player from the car... The quickest way to lose a crowd is to have them waiting. So I said "Bunk Dat" (the ol' school heads know what I mean by that). I rocked it Acca-P style. No music. I gotta say... It was one of the best shows I've rocked. I freestyled with the crowd for like 10 minutes. Then I did Mic-101, then today, then more freestyle then I cut it short. U gotta know when to call it quits so that the crowd doesn't get bored. All in all I had a dope response. People bought CDs and I got filmed for a video show. Dopeness. We went to Lok's peeps crib and shacked out for the night.

May 12, 2006
Woke up on the couch and people were all over the place
cookin' and eatin and shyt. Craziness. There was a dog jumpin all over the place and shyt. We went for breakfast then it was back on the road for another 7 hours back to NYC.
I made it bac in time for Third Party's CD release party for their new alum "Separation of Powers". http://www.saywordentertainment.com peep them out!I was exhausted but I made it. The show was incredible. It was packed! I got invited to hit the MIC for a freestyle cypher at the end of the show. I ended up stage diving and being caught by Tranquil. I told y'all before... I love this dude. He is so spontaneous. I broke my ipod and lost my fountain pen during the jump but it was all worth it! Congrats third party!

More to come!

From the Block Out the Box, Fourth Fridays, Style Factory and Freestyle Galore!

Wussup Y'all...
eventful weekend?... Check!
eventful Start of the week?... Check!
Mic Check?... Double Check!

Friday night...
Fourth Friday's @ Bowery Poetry Club...
Hot Shyt. Hot show... Lots of talent up in the spot.
Yako... (I think that's how you spell it) opened up the show with the ill Beatbox/Laptop set. Never seen anything like it. I've seen this dude live several times and each time it's been a new experience. Dope shyt. Had the crowd bumpin'.! Then they had this dope DJ get down. (Forgot his name sorry man). Did some of the craziest scratches I've ever seen/heard. I guess that's why he was a National finalist. Hyphen One held down the live art. That dude is sick!
After the show they had us up on Stage doing a "Doubles" Emcee Cypher. The first one I did was with Conscious. He's so dope U just don't understand. Somehow after that I managed to get up there with Tranquil. Somehow he misconstrued what I said and we ended up in a friendly battle. It was so dope! We had the crowd going. This dude won the award for "wittiest punchline emcee" at Freestyle Mondays. Remember I battled him at NYU a while back and at The Off the Head gameshow battle at Sin Sin? OK... Round three... No judges... Tranquill called me his Kryptonite. I love that dude. He'll get me sooner or later but not that time! It's all love Tranq! U R the shyt.

Saturday Night...
Style Factory at the knitting factory. They didn't have enough emcees for the "Who's rhyme is it anyway" competition so they asked me to get in on it. U know... After the Spin the mic battle that I fronted on... That ain't happening again. I was in like Flynn. It was me, Bisc 1, Chaz Kangas, and Cern. What a blast. They had us rhyming about Fairy Tales and all kinds of shyt. Bisc took it for the third time in a row. He's dope! Find out about him at http://embeddedmusic.net

Speaking of Bisc 1...
Bisc, Miss Angelina, Ill Spokinn and yours truly finally finished up the "From the Block Out the Box" program with the students at South Bronx Prep. It was fantastic. The kids really showed their stuff. It was amazing to see how these kids were affected by the program. They really impressed us, their parents and the Faculty. We had 2 one hour shows that day and then we all went for Pizza. It was sooooo fantastic. Really refreshing. I suggest giving it a go if you have the means... Kids can really teach you a lot about life and about yourself.

The Kids rocked it. Gotta give a special shout to Rose aka "Miss K" for putting it all together. I'm glad we were able to help you with your dream! Special shout to Miss Jose for helping the students with their Artwork... By the way Miss Jose is a hottie!
We got together and bought flowers for the 2 teachers and the kids gave them the flowers. The kids told Miss Jose that the flowers were from me... In front of the whole crowd... Can U dig these kids trying to play match maker? WOW! Hope Miss Jose didn't think I was trying to get in slick style... but like I said... she is a hottie!

Much More to come!

Tah Bitches out of a $2000 battle

Wussup Y'all...
On Monday, my good homey from The Bay Area came to NYC for the jumpoff.tv "Spin the MIC" battle.
16 Emcees were supposed to battle and only 12 showed up. So you know who they asked at the last minute? My ass!
Yep you guessed right.
I know, I know $2000 prize right? Well, I didn't jump in.

My boy Orukusaki was in it and my other homey "Presence" was in it too. Didn't wanna scrap with them and I wasn't really mentally prepared for it. Yeah Yeah... save your snyde comments for another time. You'll get over it, I already have dammit. Yeah... the guy who's always ready to battle right? Humbug!
Tah is only part super-human the other half is plain ol' human and don't you forget that dammit!

But guess what, they were the first two to battle. Oruk got knocked out in the first round be he was still dope as hell.
The battle was dope until a fight broke out when they were down to the last 5 emcees. Presence would have battled for the $$. He made it through up until the fight broke out and then he left . Why people always gotta fuck shyt up? That's why we can't have shyt in NYC. Anyway. after some people got stomped outside the club and they finished breaking down the stage inside the club, the battle resumed outside. The illest cyphers happened on the outside. Some of the best freestyle I've seen /heard in a while. The last cats in the battle were dope. This cat from Portland named Ill Maculate won. Dude is nice. He won scribble jame like 2 years ago. Big ups to Syanide, Qwest McCody and Whashisface for tearing up the battle till the last round. Good shyt. I'll be back in battle action soon. I've got shows to grapple with. Hopefully I'll see you people at one of em!

Thanks for reading!
Get at me!

OK... OK... So it took longer than I figured... Shaddap!

Ok... So I said it'd be easier for me to update. OK... So I've been really grinding hard to bring my music to the people. OK... so I've been battling and got my ass kicked by a girl... so what!
OK.. So I'm going on tour in May... YAAAAYYYY!!!!

Shyt doesn't always work out the way we want it to, but it's been fun as hell being late with this update!

April 2, 2006.
I was in a street battle with this girl named Likwuid Stylez. At Ground Zero for the http://jumpodff.tv street battles shyt. I wasn't on my tightest game for this one y'all. My flow was a bit of and I said "Fuckin" a whole lot. Don't know what happened. Don't have any excuses. You do great some days others you're OK. I was a mix of great and shyt at the same time. I still had a good time though. Y'all should check it out and tell me what you think.
There's alot of controversy over this one line I said on the Jumpoff.tv message boards
It was in reference to me flipping things around. Girl called me gay a few times so I flipped it around on her and told her that she's just mad because she walked in the room and saw me doing her father from the back. I think it was very clever to throw it back at her (not to toot my own horn, but hey) check it out and tell me what you think.

Please be warned, this is a street battle. You are supposed to hit below the belt and be as nasty to your opponent as you can be. There's a whole lot of insulting going on... If you've never been to one, now you know. I've never called a woman a bitch before until this battle. And I said it a whole lot in an effort to throw her off. But.. Please remember, that's not how I really get down. I have the utmost respect for the ladies out there. Me and Lukwuid actually have stayed in contact. Hopefully you'll see a collaboration from us in the future. Peep her out on myspace at http://www.myspace.com/likwuidstylez Tell her I sent you!
Good shyt ma!

April 3, 2006
Freestyle Mondays.
Got into the battle. Came out strong in the first round. Lost the coin toss so I had to go first. This new dude named Paulino came hard and took me out. 2 in one week. How about that y'all. Paulino went on to the second to last round. Dude is Nice with his. I hope to see more of him at Freestyle Mondays. Good shyt man! K Swift won the battle. He took out a bunch of people including Rabbi D and Undakova. Y'all gotta come out to Freestyle Mondays.
Every Monday
@ Sin Sin
2nd Ave at the Corner of East 5th Street, NYC
Live band, dope Emcees, open mic, no list to sign, everyone gets on the mic more than once
No cover (except for the first Monday of the Month it's $5 to get in with an open bar from 10-11pm then the battle starts.)
Shyt... I'm pluggin it like it's my event. This shyt is just that good!

April 14, 2006
Went to see my man Hyphen-One and his band Daylow perform at Lion's Den. Shyt was all Meat and Potatoes! One of the dopest Beatboxers in the world, Chesney Snow made a cameo. Hotness!
Look out!! The joint that I did with Hyphen is finished. Coming soon! I'll keep you posted. Hyphen, Chesney Snow and Tah Phrum Duh Bush are also working on a joint together. Soon to come!

The show with Ms Angelina at Bowery! NASTY!!!

Yes Y'all!!!!!!
Ms Angelina, if you didn't know, is like my female counterpart when it comes to being explicit and doing dope shows. I know I mentioned in my past Chronicles that we wrote a joint together. Go back and read em dammit! It's called "Get You Home". It's kinda risque', to put it nicely.
Miss A came out with her singer's the Jersey Girls. They rocked the crowd! She came out with a cape on and shit with this big assed A on her chest like a super hero. Some real craziness! She had this cat named Tut come out and play the sax. The girls went nuts! Then we did "Get you home". It's supposed to be a scenario that takes place at the Puerto Rican Day Parade, so I had a PR flag bandana on my head. (As if I didn't have a hard time already convincing people that I ain't Puerto Rican!). I was in the crowd like it was actually the parade. Then I came up to the stage. People didn't know what the hell was going on, the crowd went bananas!!! People were coming up to me asking for a copy of the song saying "This one's a hit man!" So... keep your ears peeled! It's coming soon! Maybe we'll do it on a 12". Peep out Miss Angelina at http://MissAngelina.com

Peep me out at http://FilthyClean.com
If you don't have my album, buy it! If you have it, buy it for a friend!

More to come!

The Mic Magazine Release Party

Yes Y'all!
Tah Phrum Duh Bush is featured in the New issue of Mic Magazine.
That's right dammit!
An interview in a print mag!
Go buy it!
I went to the release party last night. It was crazy! I met a lot of people who in the past never embraced me because I didn't do "industry" styled Hip-Hop... How about that. People don't recognize you until your in a print mag. Then they're interested all of a sudden. This business is so shady! Why do I love it so much? Well... I love the music, not the business. But I have to know both ends to succeed in it. Will you come along with me for the ride?

Buy that magazine and put my interview in your scrapbook dammit!
If you... Have a scrap book... Oh... Look at me... Acting like I have real fanatics backing me up!
Maybe some day... Let me know if you have one...
There I go dreaming again!

Upping you to Speed!

Somehow my chronicles since the 25th of February got deleted.... SO I'm bringing you up to speed!

After the show on the 25th, I never managed to rent a car as the cheapest one was $400 plus mileage for the weekend. So…I bummed a ride with Rich, the guy that put together the “Circus of the Shattered Monkey”. We were accompanied by Melissa and Cool assed Joseph in the back seat.
We drove out to New Paltz, NY where we performed at the Oasis Café
Hot show! I held it down as Ringmaster with antics and intermittent freestyles accompanied by Hypaspace, the house band of the Circus. They couldn’t fit on the stage with the rest of the acts so they were shoved into this cramped doorway and sectioned off with caution tape. They still tore it down.

Sexy Assed Ericka came out to see me!

She brought her friend out who had just had a shitty experience with some dude so we cheered her up with a little “fuck that dude” freestyle. The crowd helped and she left smiling.

All the bands were hot! Saw some shyt I never even thought about seeing. Lots of talent. You need to see a Shattered Monkey show!

February 27th
After a night at the ever so cheesey Motel 46, we got on the road to Providence Rhode Island. Ghess who drove most of the way? Yep… My ass!
The show was a bit light on the crowd side. Maybe it was too cold or maybe the bands didn’t promote enough. I don’t know. The people who did come got some show! The bands were stellar! I did an extended version of “Lay That Pipe” with Hypaspace that should have been recorded. It was off the chain! In the midst of all that I managed to move a few CDs. Hotness!

Guess who had to drive all the way back to NYC? Yep… My ass! What the fuck man? How’d I end up driving the majority anyway? Just my fate I guess.

March 3rd, 2006
I went out to Central New Jersey…. Way out in Central New Jersey to see Third Party and Hyphen One & Daylow perform. What a show. I think the whole town was there! I somehow managed to be called up to the mic at the end of the show for some freestyle. Made some friends and some fans, sold some CDs too. What a hike, but well worth it!

March 7th, 2006
From the Block Out the Box
Bisc-1, Miss Angelina, Ill Spokinn, Core Rhythm, DJ Milkmoney, Rose and I are working on a Hip-Hop Songwriting workshop in the Bronx with 7th and 8th Graders. Today was the introduction to it. We threw a kind of mini concert in front of like 300 students. Shyt was kool until my speakers blew out in the middle of the show! My PA system!!!!! YAAAAARRRRGGGHHH!!!!
The show came of well and the kids loved it. More to come on this in the future, I’ll keep you posted!

March 9th 2006
Wrote a Joint with Miss Angelina today. Very Hot, very Sexual joint. I can’t wait to get it out for people to hear. The streets are already buzzing about it. We’re supposed to perform it at 4th Fridays this Month. That’s tins week. Bowery Poetry Club. 308 Bowery, NYC. Be there. Don’t miss it! You’ll be sorry!

March 17th, 2006
The return of the BUTT NAKED ALIEN GROUPIES
What a Show!
The crowd loved it! I opened up with Life and Death Dichotomy… The crowd went nuts… I had a makeshift bed on the stage, Mish worked the lighting perfectly. The mood was ON!

I did EYE, & Mic 101.
Funny shyt… like it was part of the set… This guy came up on stage out of nowhere and started asking if he could get some light. That was seconds before I did “Shine” It worked so perfectly! If you weren’t there you should have seen it. I have some of the footage on tape. Hopefully when I get to review it, it’ll be a part of the footage. I’ll put it up when I re-vamp the website (Soon!) After that I did lay that pipe. The aliens came out and made their appearance on this one. Life-sized an in your face aliens. Shyt was crazy! I ended the show off with Energitis. The crowd Love this one too! The staff @ Bowery said that this was my best show yet! That’s Hot! Sold a bunch of CDs too! Yay! Now I can pay my phone bill!
( I know right… this broke ass!)
There was an Emcee cipher on stage after the show. This white kid got up on stage and said “Nigger” like 30 times while he was rhyming so I had to pull his card. This other kid tried to dis us both. I dropped $10 on stage and challenged him to a battle. Needless to say. I went home with 10 more bucks then I came with.

All of the Acts were on Point. G Friday, Readnex Poetry Squad, and Adaptamental!

Hot shyt Y’all!

Last night's show and this morning's no go....

Last night's show was the shyt!! Alphabet lounge is a really odd venue to perform at. There's a metal bar across the stage so it kinda restricts you from getting to close to the crowd. But you know me. I was all over that shyt: climbing on it hanging off of it. Swinging on it. Hey make the best of what you got. It's been a while since I got a chance to rock an hour long set. People don't understand how difficult it can be to rock a crowd for that amount of time and keep their attention. I had all of my props in this crate, my backpack and a metal suitcase & a big portfolio case for my signs. I hauled all this shyt on the train because yes ladies and gentlemen, my car is in the shop. There's a great deal of distance between the train and the venue. Need I say more? Never take a car for granted! Especially since I just called the shop. My car is supposed to be ready this morning. I call to find out the situation and they told me that they got a wrong part and the car won't be ready until Monday. What the FUCK? I have two out of town shows; one tonight and one tomorrow night. From what I understand they knew about it since yesterday. Someone could have told me something! Now I have to struggle to find a rental. Have you ever tried to rent a car on a Saturday? No easy task and definitely not a cheap one.

Anyway... the show was dope I sold about 8 CD's last night. Not bad huh? I opened up my set about 30 minutes after the doors opened. It wasn't the largest of crowds, but I ran the full gamut of showmanship! Lay That Pipe was the end all beat all. I had some audience people come up and this young lady said that she's not into guys, so I asked her how she likes to get the "strap on"? They went nuts! What a good time. Thanks to conscious and Guestos for rocking an impromptu freestyle "4 bar and pass" session on stage at the end of the show. That was dope!

OK... I'll feed you more later. I gotta go find a fuckin' rental!

Peace, Love and the MIC
