I landed in LA today and Chris Valenti Picked me up from the airport.
What a cool cat. Crashed at his joint after I went to a party called "Low End Theory" (yes just like A Tribe Called Quest's Album) with Jessica Ramos (thanks for putting me on to that spot). I have never been in an open outdoor spot with sooo much herb in the air in the US. It was like Jamaica, on the real. The place was packed and they had like 3 DJs spinning. The one on the main stage was tearing it up with Drum and Bass and the crowd was not moving at all. They just stood there and watched. It was kinda freaky. Then the band got on (Forgive me for not remembering the name. I'm probably buzzed from being around all that weed smoke) was dope. This cat did a live painting that changed into like 8 things before he was done. The crowd did not move the entire time. They cheered at the end of the set but they still did not move. Strange but cool. After that we swung over to China Town and got a pork bun form this dope Chinese spot for like 75 cents. Good times. Feels good to be back!
